Singapore's National Day falls on this sunday 9 Aug, No formal lessons today, only Thanksgiving Concert. SRJC's Thanksgiving Concert is a tradition that started in 2007, where teachers would put up a concert for all students to thank them for their fundraising efforts. Teachers perform, students are the audience!

Firstly I reported at 3 PM for band. The Band had to play for the March Past ceremony and the National Anthem. After the Parade ceremony, is the concert itself. We went back to pack up and then when were dismissed to go to attend the concert in the hall. Went to get dressed for the concert with some of the girls from band, and we can really camwhore yo!
Concert was a blast, many were high on ecstacy, screaming their lungs away. Towards the end we sang th songs like 'peng you (friends)' and 'If we hold on together'. Many people linked arms as they sung the song. Everyone sang the College Anthem with pride too. Its a rare opportunity that everyone would come together to sing the College Anthem, or recite the pledge. Of cos, how can a school pre-national day celebration last w/o being patriotic by singing National Day songs? So we sung songs like 'We are Singapore'. Thats the college spirit!
I know I look different with makeup. Haha.

Sometimes, I just camwhore too much. :P
