Tried Once Upon A Milkshake with ch darling today. Rumbling raisins & Sir Cookies and cream, two of the popular flavours! ch didn't like the raisins one, but its like one of the nicest there! Must be because of the alcoholic rum inside and not everyone can tolerate the mild spicy bitter taste so they think it taste weird. haha! But me likey (:

Went out to somewhere in the east to do some homework after that. Had yummy beef hor fun for dinner. :D

I miss having alone time with ch because of change in lifestyles our timing very hard to accomo. each other but we manage to squeeze out time to meet. things will get better next year when she is back from China (:

There are certain things that you only tell to certain people, they may not be your best friend or partner, but we all have things that we only feel comfortable sharing with just a particular person, for some reason. Sometimes out of your few besties you can just only bring yourself to confide in one of them. haha. Or for a unknown reason, you can only talk about smth with the opposite sex.

Really, its about an unexplainable trust and comfort you have towards an individual (and each individual is different) that makes you feel safe and solaced in sharing. ;)

Heeded people's advice, finally eased the space constraint in my computer C drive so the machine performs faster now. I like siao, put my C drive until almost full but C drive is by default, isn't it? No choice.. I moved a lot of files to D drive already. 2 years+ and way beyond worth of collection especially photos xD

Dinner with yoyo at Mun Ting Xiang taiwan snacks (满庭香), a taiwan style cafe situated in Toa Payoh. Its near block 190. A lot of good food, can't wait to go back there to try again. nom nom:D

We went to NTUC Fairprice supermarket at TPY Hub cos she wanted to get groceries. These cadbury caramelle nibbles caught my eye and so it belongs to me. Not bad, I have not been buying junk snacks for quite some time in Singapore already so i'm in control. I think i have high inclination to love cadbury sweet treats. Hee :)

SR Grad Day today, held a day earlier than last year because its Friday today. Exactly a year ago, i graduated. Classic phrase goes, time will fly by fast! True enough, yes! I hope my peers in the existing batch can emerge to be someone we are all proud of. I'm rooting for ya!

Actually I asked her to buy me the LV-ish bag during her very recent Bangkok trip cos I want to add on to my Naraya collection. Good loots at the naraya boutiques there. ((: Actually I have only few naraya bags.. #grumpy but I will make do with it..

I'm kind of a fan of Naraya cause some of their designs are really pretty and not too overdone that it looks old/kiddy/whatever you say. Their pouches and purses are worth checking out too. The boutique is a must-go in Thailand! #Girl'sShoppingHeaven

My first visit to Marche @ 313, Somerset. Not that late right.

the interior. its downstairs of the entrance, meaning after the entrance, you take a flight of stairs down to the eating place instead of stairs that head upwards.

Golden potatos for the rosti, a Swiss dish consisting of mainly potatoes. Its highly tempting!

The greens, salads look very very appetising as well.

Most importantly, even the desserts are wow! we had a hard time deciding which one to choose.

I know you guys are still there for me as a friend, especially you. I don't ask for much, just your care and company. I do not mind certain things and have come to accept stuff over the months but sometimes I do feel repressed that certain matters are kept under wraps. Er... life. That is how inhibited I feel as well. Just thoughts, don't take heart to it. You know I know. Still I hope that there is lesser restriction.

I should have to wait long long then. Ohwells. I will make do with the present now.

Tried out new braided buns instead of the traditional ballerina bun for a more modern look.

the initial stage looks ugly. Lol. Until you twist up the pleats to become a pleated bun.

the end product. Could be higher and improved.. the bun would look so much better if I have very long hair. Then again. I look better with my hair down.

Thanks to those who hated me, you made me stronger.
Now I've learnt that those who are fake toward you by acting friendly and then talking bad behind your back is actually scarier than those who show their feelings and are straightforward into your face. Its better if you express your hate in my face than to be two-sided, at least i know you mean no harm. Also learnt that a fake smile on a friend's face is more dangerous than a sword in your enemy's hand. The quietest people often have the loudest minds. Imagine a dog that bites without barking?

Be it for a season, reason or lifetime. Like seasons, life changes and our social circle gets redefined over time. The longest friendships I have are 7 years and counting, some i have known for the longest time but got closer only now, some on and off and some long ones which are short-lived. Some that I hope will last. There is no definite answer to how long some thing lasts, we all do not have answers so lets just treasure each other.

Title : 虽然生活变, 但回想, 还有点怀念那些时候. 哈哈~

I turned on my PC after i reached home today. Been looking through Facebook Notes composed by me and some others as well as photos and from there you could see that how things, people and thinking change over time. Eh.... I only have 6 FB notes from me (so little?!) and like 45 from others about me. Those notes where you answer questions and tag people or wait for people to comment.

I also looked at past photos and blog archives, some which would make me cringe because of change in physical appearance and also beacause of how much everything changed. *shrugs* Lol~

Those FB notes where we used to tag people here and there to do the notes, we usually tag our closer or more good friends, and the "usual people" you tag will change over two periods of time, say 6 months or 2 years. So this person you have in mind now may no longer be months down the road. Tell you already, people change, so do relationships.

Blog posts and photos posted online will give the world ideas how close people are, but if things turn bad, people may usually guess who is those who are no longer in your circle when you talk about it. So, if you don't want much attention, post less (which some people do, haha that's good). Haha. But photos and blog archives are good to document down the parts and parcels of your life. Then next time you will have stories to share and life lessons to learn from. :)

Yeah there are people who walk out of my life so ever since that time I knew I didn't contact them already. and they do weird lame things then. Do you know? -___- these kind of people also not worth it, it shows who they really are only.

I'm still the same girl you always known. Its others who changed.

I think by now some people would have a clue of what I'm talking about. haha. told you, some people can really have good inferences because they know you and your social circle well.

Wanted to tell people what happened, but so far i have casually told 1 or 2, which may be good enough to cause trouble. Someone then told me not to tell mutual friends about it, because it isnt good and one day if we get back together people may think I'm hypocritical. Makes sense. I'm not in their circle, though we are all in one big circle. its like the mutual friends chain are not entirely well connected. *Cautious mind* Haha. I've watched out since about a year ago.

And the friends whom I know are around, thank you for being there for me as of now. We may not be around each other, but if you hear from me, even once in a blue moon, you know you're in my thoughts. If we speak on a regular basis, its even better. Hope things remain this way, though we all know nothing lasts forever. =)

Just want to write down thoughts. Essentially, i blog for myself, for records and things to look back on next time, remember?

Anyway, I had fun looking back at old photos and entries because fond memories are still there. =)

Title : Singapore's neighbour

I ventured into Malaysia (Johor Bahru only) twice this month on two different days to window shop and eat.. :D of course not alone. It has been years (i do not know when) since I went JB. The place changed a lot, i believe.

so i went to JB City Square just at the customs.

One of our first destination was Popular bookstore to find the CAP (consumers association of penang) guide books, which are pocket-sized health-related books on a particular topic. I had one of these books in 2009 from Kluang and since then i wanted a few other series.... CAP guides are not sold in Singapore so the nearest place to get it is Malaysia.

See the 2nd and 3rd row small books? Those are it!

in some parts of Malaysia, the english one may run out of stock and only left with the chinese version. What I heard very recently is Kluang Popular does not have the english one, luckily JB has it. :)

There are the chinese versions too in the Chinese section of Popular. Each book is only a few Malaysian Ringgit, which is equialent to SGD $1-$4 only.

Secret Recipe is cheaper in Malaysia...compared to Singapore

I bought young hearts invisible bra & 2 lingerie sets from Pierre Cardin as well (they got offers too). One of the designs can't be found in Singapore. I didnt know its so "exclusive". Its pretty lacey. Can't show you here. some things are meant to be intimate *shy*. Lol!~

This year I entered Malaysia three times. Kluang was in July and the 2 JB trips in this month. Hope the next overseas trip is somewhere further. :D Planning in progress ~
