Title : I feel quite hesitant to update this space.

I dislike it when I have a lot to blog about but just don't have the time to sit down and really reflect about things. Time is like a monster who keeps trying to go against me.

Stepping down from a CCA career in JC? I'm almost there. Suddenly the prospect of ending my SR band life appears to be daunting... It feels weird to have no CCA sessions on your typical CCA days... :)

Title : Green line stroll.

The National Lib's study lounge is always fully occupied all the time. Irritating. The balcony outside the lounge is a good spot too, if you don't mind the hard flooring and maybe the cold.

I played at some LAN Cafe today. Stupid computer, AuditionSEA got problem and the game shut down even before you can enter the spots. So we were unable to play Audition. Never mind. :( I went into Maple Story. It has been years since I've touched Asiasoft games. Tried to download the games last year after my promos but failed to do so. I revisited my characters and refreshes my maple memories at the LAN Cafe. Next time I will find a computer which can startup Audition decently. Humpf.

I hope As faster end so that I can play the games. As if I won't outgrow it.

Revisited Bugis Street as well. I can't even remember the last time I went there. It feels safe and secure to go with guys and stick with guys there because I always feel insecure as a girl at Bugis Street. I've outgrew that place long ago. I upgrade my haunts as I grow older. lol.

It will be a long long time before I can enjoy like what I did during this term break. The next real funtime shall be in late May.

Title : ♥ the airport.

Besides the lack of spots to study at..... I love the aviation paradise. :P How can you not mark it as world class? Clean infrastructure, orderliness, good service (including security), efficient, no queues, litter-free, sparkling toilets, baggage control swift, gleaming marble surfaces, a place good for recreation... very nice peaceful atmosphere... and maybe stoning with your jacket (cardigans are proven useless to me under airport conditions). Heh heh.

Title : Broke camp and...

finishing my CCA career in SR :(

Its sad when great things have to conclude.
There goes my 3D2N camp, and most probably my last camp in college.
The first day is CIP for JC2s in the morning, followed by commencement of camp in the afternoon. Day 1 was more of interacting, games and bonding (quite meaningful...). The taste of flour is.... starchy. But still flour is quite nice to taste haha. the flour made my clothes smell. humpf. I don't like the pail game behind LT5. Haha boo. Day 2 was full day music playing with night BBQ at our school pits (very productive day and rewarding). After BBQ, JC2s and the teachers sat in a circle to discuss about matters and review the whole camp. Day 3 was the ending and breaking of camp after LT5 rehearsal. Learnt dumb intelligence EQ games along the process in camp.

Not a bad experience afterall (minus the 2 nights of sleeping on hard flooring and feeling exposed to bad aura). But, the prospect of us stepping down appears daunting. Our lifestyle will change after stepping down. No more late evenings and teaching each other how to play. No more comforting presence of juniors to experience during band time. No more debriefings and routine SMSes. No more wearing of court shoes until I step into the office when I start working. No more band-ish bonds between us. No more tromboning and trombone-ish stuffs. Booo.

I like the juniors whom I got to mix with. And my own juniors as well. There was bonding during certain mealtimes and during the instrument cleaning session in the toilet. The 93' batch is more technically skilled and capable in band, 'm glad I can learn more from my juniors. and disturb them. :D

This friday will be my last performance in SR Band, I'll miss playing with the band.

Several weeks more to go. Lets make full use of the remaining time before the full-term mugging cramming and revision starts. ^^

Title : it happens all the time

We may seem to be very close for now, but after a period of time we slowly drift apart because we have different lives to lead. In the process, the common topics we have seem to be slowly diminishing till you start to realize there is little in common between us. We may not know how to start a conversation already. In the meantime its still possible to narrow the gap..

I seem to lose all my close friends quickly. Things change a lot. I see there is still room for hope sometimes. Those friends that are worthy I will know.

Really, I'm drifting apart from everyone.

Two years ago, my skin was thick enough. Now it has gotten thinner and thinner. Can it be both a good and bad thing?

I want to say more. But this is an online blog, not a private diary :(

Title : Plans

My Common Tests will be over on thursday! I have plans that I want and can't wait to carry out with specific people! Term break is a short break but at least I catch some breather.
Some of my plans are hindered by camp.
(I got camping plans, hahahaha)
1. Study plans (sure can! :D)
2. I want to club. But which day/night can I fit!?
3. Where did my swimming plans go?
4. I don't care. I will go swimming once term break starts!
5. Maybe I'll eat a good meal..
.............

I'll cross out clubbing for now. Studies are more important.. am I correct to say that?

I believe we can motivate each other to study.... and run! :)

Title : SR's Big Show

Release of 2009 GCE A Level Results

A good show with lessons to learn from and experiences to gain. SRJC did very well this year, surpassing the previous years! There are many indicators that we are improving!

Of course, with such a special annual occasion, how could I not bring my camera? Hehehee.

More photos on Facebook!

To those who did well, very good! Continue doing well in life. To those whose results didn't meet satisfactory standards, don't lose heart. Results are only a stepping stone in your youth and there are many more opportunities and challenges in life to face! There's always plan B to work on.

I know that person won't get to read this but.... I'm proud of one of my best JC buds. I always have high confidence in him and know he'll make it. There's still so much more to learn from him.. hopefully one day I'll get results like his! Good job boy! :D

all that I've seen today, has spurred me to push on and work even harder... Go think of the scenario in March 2011. What do I want? :/

I remembered the saying... 'Friends who have gone through hard times together have a special bond that no outsiders can understand'. No road is ever long when we have someone we can travel with.. I wonder when will I experience that again ever since that incident.

& I learnt that strong bonded friendships can bring one far in life sometimes, sometimes even achieving great success. Friends who do things together.... gain together. I got that drift...

Okay, have a pleasant week ahead!

After past encounters, I realised that sincerity that comes from your heart goes a long way.

We may not be close anymore, but I believe you do look back at some point of time and reflect. Perhaps in the future, we may go 'Remember the in school..?' and most probably have a good laugh over everything. Good that things had a turning for the past few years. Now I know how to do things better. ^^

Happy Birthday to all the March babies.

I have screwed up social situations in my social circle with the existence of peculiar people who send out creeps. Darn I'm sick of friends who repeat the cycle over and over again.

Again, because of such things, positive happenings do occur and I don't know is it fate.

Title : Here comes March.

It seems like only yesterday when year 2 started and year end break ended. I seem to whisk pass milestones in my JC life. Everything seems to zoom by. Sooner or later, graduation day will come and I will start to pay adult fare for public transport. Seriously, there is not much time left, though you can say that there is still half a year more to go.

When I was young, in my preteens, I couldn't wait to hit teenhood.
When I was in my early teens, I anticipated for sweet 16.
When I was in my mid teens, I anticipated for *seventeen forever*.
When I was 17, I can't wait to turn 18.
Now, I somehow look forward to 19.
But after 19, here comes the 2x whole number in my age range.
I don't look forward to being 20, because adulthood will be nearer and nearer to me & that is when all the lifetime responsibilities come and remain with me for life.
Being financially independent (bills, insurance, living expenses, maintainence eg eg eg) may seem daunting now but I'd like to get a taste of what its like. When you still have the financial support at home and you're working while waiting to get to University, the feeling of being financially independent seems good.. But, not when you're out surviving on your own.
More worries come.

But, there's a good reason why I should look forward to my 21th birthday. Haha. :)
