Time : 12:21:00 am Title : family, friends. double F.  Family day on a Saturday! Dined at MFM for lunch and Tonkichi for dinner. From Bugis to Somerset (John Little, 313), to ION and other places along Orchard Road. Cramps spoiled the first quarter of the day and I managed to fulfill my need for panadol in the midst of spending my coins on toilet visits zZ. Theres sales and discounts going on at John Little & Robinsons hehe! The young ones didn't exactly go there, we went to the youth haugouts like 313 hehe! Ooopps Not that the older ones are old but different age group have different shopping preferences yah.. haha.. Dad joined us in the midst. Walked to ION from 313 after I got sick of 313, good exercise when it comes to walking in town minus the risk of bird droppings landing on your head when you walk under the shady trees aligned at Orchard Road because the day was still young then, night hasn't fall so birds are still out there & not flying home or hovering around the trees where people walk under. haha. Went to Isetan after dinner and met tng at ION after that. Walked at Taka, trained back home to AMK. I stepped out of the lift at the 4th floor of AMK Hub and the pushcart shop (not telling you the name =P) that hs and me visited quite a few times before after school hours was still open! And then..... haha you guess.I'm happy. My 'loots' for today;  all the skincare, cosmetics products and bag and apparel.. =X Will try to harvest more goodie goods after Common Test in March. Any kakis want to join me? Saturday gone. The 'best' thing (sacarstically) about Sunday is knowing that the next day is Monday. Blues!! =P

Time : 2:30:00 pm Title : Friends. How much does it take to be accepted? Sometimes, we do not have to work so hard to build our social status in order to be on par with others and fit in, do we? If you get along with people, so be it. If you can't, so be it either. The true ones (friends) will accept you for who you are and not what you are. It is the inner ties that bind within friendships, not the material things or surface matters. You will know if you can click with someone and become accepted when your heart feels it naturally. Friends. The friends who matter would not mind... The ones who do not matter.... perhaps just forget it. Some who matter will always matter without much effort to be done. Sometimes, the word 'best' need not be spelled out directly, yet both parties would get a strong sense of what it means. So what is your extent of 'being accepted'? Understand what I've wrote? I don't think so. It's okay.

Time : 3:02:00 pm Title : angbaos Chinese new year. The time where families get together for a reunion dinner, where relatives gather after one year, where kids are excited to receive red packets and everyone looking forward to feasting. Not only it gives us a temporal relief from work, it reminds us of our chinese values, culture and customs and we should be proud that we are chinese. I hope all of you had a good new year break. (:
New year celeb. wasn't that bad, the feeling counting stacks of cash is good, but it sucks to know that the cash deposit feature is temporary unavailable at your nearest ATM machine, when you've walked 5 mins to go there and then having to walk back home loaded with $_$.  The red packet with the tiger on it matches this year's zodiac theme. designer red packet, look at the texture and material! Of cos the cash inside is on par with the expensive italy brand. heh.Decided not to upload CNY photos for privacy sake of everyone & to keep some things for myself to relish, if you want to take a peek you can always ask me, I can share the viewing pleasure with you, hehe. So who wants to see?

Time : 10:36:00 pm Title : What's new is already what we know.  What you usually see has always been there and is already what you know. There is the double combo of Chinese New Year and Valentines Day falling on 14 Feb this year. Talking about mood, where's the CNY atmosphere? I have yet to feel it. Valentines Day? Who cares because when you're in love, everyday seems to be Valentines Day. ^^ The festive atmosphere seems to be declining year after year as I get older. Its okay, I will use this few days to take a good break. Hope you will enjoy your mini holiday... while I enjoy mine too. :D |
