SRGCE Vietnam Trip, Day 4
04 December 2008

Started our descend to 2000m above sea level
Had outdoor lunch
Transder abck to Sapa, then go straight to Ta Van Village
Had dinner there and overnight in the local house of the Giay minority there

someday we'll know, why the sky is blue....

Arghhh my Fansipan cookies are the center of attraction for the pic!

We reached the Village!!!
Sanitation (Bathing and toilet amenities) was not so desirable there because its quite 'run-down'.it came in the form of urinal and shower wooden huts, not the modern way of doing business. plus, theres limited sanitation, only 2 toilets there for dozens of us. Imagine if many of us needed the toilet at the same time. Haha. Had to wait for quite some time to bathe too.

Since we are halfway thru e trip, might as well perservere on. Grudging will only make us suffer more instead of having fun. (:

this is how we sleep. girls bunk on the bottom level, boys had to climb the stairs up as their bunks were above the girls

dining table

we put mosquito nets over our mattresses

so it reduces the chances of mosquitoes biting us!

for some things in life we have to put up with the adversity.
some things in life don't come easy, take for example a mountain climb. If you want to reach the submit, you have to endure and continue climbing..

must learn to adapt quickly and live life w/o restrictions!

the best thing above living there in the minority village was, its so peaceful. You'll feel so carefree there, without worries, life is so simple there. The plus thing is, though we sleep on matresses on the floor, you can sleep soundly there throughout the whole night for 6-7 hours non-stop and the only time you'll wake up is in the morning when you have to get up.

The sleeping conditions are just too comfortable. The temperature's cool! I thought I couldnt fall asleep when I sleep in such place, but I was totally wrong. the outcome was the extreme. :D
