犬と私の10の約束 (Inu to Watashi no 10 no Yakusoku)

14-year old Akari fell in love with a puppy that had wandered into her house and adopted it. She names it "Socks" as its' paws looked like they had white socks on it. The girl and dog are inseparable, and Socks was a great comfort to Akari while grieving her mother's death. However, as Akari grows up, her feelings and interest moves away from Socks. Year by year, their distance grows, which also leads to her physical distance as she moves off to a far off city, and must leave Socks behind to a childhood friend. One day Akari remembers the 10 promises that she had make to Socks and her deceased mother...

Have you watched this? Very sad and touching movie! The golden retriever remained loyal to her owner for 10 years despite not be reciprocated sometimes. I love how loyal dogs are... maybe the only living beings on earth that will be loyal to you are dogs?

The bichon frise was extremely adorable too!
