Time : 10:59:00 pm Title : Weekends- (finally) BREAK. Errrr, not always.
Because there's a half day on some Saturdays. You think work is easy ah, when your career luck is down and you and some people are born under stars that conflict? I prefer my previous job(s?), where I was socially lucky to integrate into workplace. Definitely, there'll still be some people who are not well-liked no matter where you work at. It applies to school life too. ~.~ Working life drained my energy and left me little space for my personal life, but heck, I still own a life and I hope it can balance well with work life. In fact I treasure my social life more after working. You have not heard how sucky life recently is? Yeah? No frets, I'll tell you at a later time when time is more appropriate. On a more brighter note, I and as a whole family, bought our Taiwan relatives who were in Singapore for a short while and has free days during their stay around town. It feels good to be a tour guide for almost a day, to be able to host visitors in your home country and learn new things too. Yeah v_v My Dad was with them on the entire of today's morning and lunch, after which they came to 313 Somerset at 2+ PM, when I joined them. walked around, see some shops and had some food at Food Republic on the highest level of the mall. We travelled to & on Orchard road, went down South to HarbourFront to Vivocity to show our relatives how to get to Sentosa and find information for them so that they can plan what to do in Sentosa. We went to the outdoor scenery view outside for fresh air and a rest. How nice, esp the USS Castle (which that was Shrek world) from across the river. (: went Clarke Quay to find Liang Court's Kopitiam already closed down with renovations taking place at the spot Kopitiam was at. As a result we settled for Lerk Thai to have dinner. Speaking about Thai food, I don't remember having any Thai food. I guess it was too long ago. images taken with my temp phone, 3.2 MP. I didn't bring camera out nowadays when I do regularly.... Dun ask me why. Lazy, perhaps? =/   There was a loud vibrant event going on at along Orchard Rd, got security police somemore. my Thai fried style rice, cant rmb the name but its different from the usual fried rice. Passion Lover drink.The two children of the couple, you could say they're my distant niece and nephew, thought one is in their teens, they remind me of my childhood and how I was like esp when travelling and walking long distances.... among many other things. (: I'm uncertain whether if I get to Taiwan, I can visit them or not. Hahahs.. Must see whether they're free or not also right? For accomodating in their house, I rather not... Bu hao yi si.. Paiseh la. Better to pay for a lodging thought that will mean higher trip costs. Oh well... Let's talk about my travel plans another day, but for sure I need a break in July! *hee* I survived a mad week! You.can.survive. (: |
