I ventured into Malaysia (Johor Bahru only) twice this month on two different days to window shop and eat.. :D of course not alone. It has been years (i do not know when) since I went JB. The place changed a lot, i believe.

so i went to JB City Square just at the customs.

One of our first destination was Popular bookstore to find the CAP (consumers association of penang) guide books, which are pocket-sized health-related books on a particular topic. I had one of these books in 2009 from Kluang and since then i wanted a few other series.... CAP guides are not sold in Singapore so the nearest place to get it is Malaysia.

See the 2nd and 3rd row small books? Those are it!

in some parts of Malaysia, the english one may run out of stock and only left with the chinese version. What I heard very recently is Kluang Popular does not have the english one, luckily JB has it. :)

There are the chinese versions too in the Chinese section of Popular. Each book is only a few Malaysian Ringgit, which is equialent to SGD $1-$4 only.

I bought young hearts invisible bra & 2 lingerie sets from Pierre Cardin as well (they got offers too). One of the designs can't be found in Singapore. I didnt know its so "exclusive". Its pretty lacey. Can't show you here. some things are meant to be intimate *shy*. Lol!~

This year I entered Malaysia three times. Kluang was in July and the 2 JB trips in this month. Hope the next overseas trip is somewhere further. :D Planning in progress ~
